The ICF International office is located 33 miles
(55 kilometers) south of the airport. You will
need local currency (Reais) for transportation if you take the bus; if you arrange a taxi inside the terminal, you can pay in advance with a credit card.
By Taxi:
Taxi is the easiest, fastest, and most convenient
way to reach Barra da Tijuca. You will find many
taxis in front of the terminal; however, for safety reasons, you should
order a taxi from the transport agency inside
the terminal; you can pay with a credit card. Ask the taxi driver to take you
to the ICF International office (ICF Consultoria
do Brasil) at Av. das Américas, 700 - Bloco
6 - Sala 250 - Centro Empresarial Cittá
América/Barra da Tijuca, which is a mall
beside the Shopping Downtown. Taxi fare is approximately
92 Reais, and the trip takes about 40 minutes,
depending on the time of day. |

Transportation:
The bus stop is located on the first floor of Terminals
1 and 2. Take the express bus Alvorada to the Centro
Empresarial Cittá América. Buses operate
from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m and depart every 30
minutes. Travel time to Barra da Tijuca is about
one hour and forty minutes (the bus makes a number
of stops). Fare is collected on the bus and is approximately
5 Reals for a bus with air conditioning. |

miles (30 kilometers) southwest of downtown Rio
de Janeiro.
By Taxi:
Taxi is the easiest, fastest, and most convenient
way to reach Barra da Tijuca. You will find taxis
throughout downtown Rio de Janeiro. Ask the taxi
driver to take you to the ICF International office
(ICF Consultoria do Brasil) at Av. das Américas,
700 - Bloco 6 - Sala 250 - Centro Empresarial
Cittá América/Barra da Tijuca, which
is a mall beside the Shopping Downtown. Taxi fare
is approximately 40 Reals, and the trip takes
about 30 minutes, depending on the time of day.

By Public Transportation from Central Station:
Take bus number 179 to the Alvorada Station and
ask to stop at the Centro Empresarial Cittá
América. The bus operates throughout the
day, and the travel time is about 1 hour. Fare
is collected on the bus and is approximately 1.20
Reals for a bus with no air conditioning.
By Public Transportation from Castelo Station:
Take the bus going to Mandala Station and ask
to stop at the Centro Empresarial Cittá
América. The bus operates throughout the
day, and the travel time is about 1 hour. Fare
is collected on the bus and is approximately 5
Reals for a bus with air conditioning.
