Our staff isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the
job done!
We hammered, drilled, spackled, and drywalled on September
22, 2001, as part of a company-sponsored community service
day.
The team volunteered their labor at Refuge of HOPE, a set
of former crackhouses in Northeast DC that is being rebuilt
completely by volunteers. Our staff provided more than $500
for supplies and nearly 100 hours of labor to the project.
The experience also inspired individuals to return to the
site to donate clothing, supplies, and additional help.
Enjoy these pictures from the service day and the picnic
that followed for the team and their families. Community service
is one way that we build team camaraderie while making a serious
contribution to the larger community.
