Community Service Day 2002

On April 20, 2002, our staff worked with the Center for Creative Non-Violence, a large homeless shelter in Washington, D.C., to help finalize some of the center’s interior renovations. Under the guidance of a local nonprofit, we painted areas within the shelter as part of a company-sponsored community service day. Through this effort, our housing and community development staff provided more than $300 for supplies and nearly 50 hours of labor to the project.
