Education is a lifelong learning process, inside and outside the classroom and the workplace. Many educators believe the foundations for learning are established by an individual’s early education and childhood experiences. Moreover, many factors over and beyond native ability have been shown to affect student achievement and school outcomes.

These factors, as well as access to quality elementary and secondary education are the focus of ICF International ’s education policy and research program. While this country’s colleges and universities are the envy of many, our research points to opportunities for continuing improvements in post-secondary education. Another major focus of our educational efforts is in the increasingly important area of adult education and lifetime learning.
