ICF International Announces the Hire of Janet D'Ignazio

Expert in Integrated Transportation and
Environmental Decision-Making

FAIRFAX, VA, August 3, 2006 – ICF International announced today that Janet D'Ignazio joined the firm as a vice president with the company's transportation and environment business area. She has more than 35 years of experience in multi-modal transportation policy, planning, and project development, and is a nationally recognized leader in integrated transportation and environmental decision-making. Ms. D'Ignazio will leverage her experience to assist clients at all levels of government to design and implement more collaborative and integrative transportation policies, plans, and programs.

"Throughout her career, Ms. D'Ignazio has focused on improving the decision-making processes that shape our nation's transportation sector. She has spearheaded innovative initiatives at the federal, state, and local levels designed to more effectively integrate community and environmental goals into end-to-end transportation solutions," says Sergio Ostria, a senior vice president specializing in transportation and environmental consulting services at ICF. "Her leadership in the transportation planning field, coupled with ICF's multidisciplinary environmental, energy, and management consulting skills, will further strengthen our ability to help our clients design and implement better transportation solutions."

Prior to joining ICF, Ms. D'Ignazio was a senior research fellow at The Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) at North Carolina State University. There, she was responsible for new research on emerging transportation issues, as well as training and development of implementation tools for transportation decision-makers and practitioners. She also was the Chief Planning and Environmental Officer at the North Carolina Department of Transportation where she led a US$9.2 billion program to guide investment in North Carolina's transportation infrastructure. Ms. D'Ignazio also held various senior executive positions with the Michigan Department of Transportation over a span of eleven years. She holds a B.A. from Brown University and an M.R.P. in Regional Planning and Transportation Planning from the University of North Carolina.
