on Behalf of the U.S. EPA

FAIRFAX, VA, September 27, 2006 – ICF International announced today that it was awarded Technical and Analytical Support of ENERGY STAR Program—Labeling and Residential Branch, a five-year, US$14 million contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Air and Radiation. The program is committed to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and other pollutants by identifying and labeling energy-efficient products in the marketplace.

"ICF has successfully supported the ENERGY STAR® program for more than 15 years," says Michael Mernick, senior vice president at ICF and expert in energy efficiency. "Our team of energy experts is at the forefront of creative energy solutions, and we are excited to bring our collective talent together again to support the EPA on this critical national initiative."

"ENERGY STAR is now one of the most trusted brands representing energy efficient products and services. We are pleased to continue to contribute to the program and support its growth in new areas," says Robin Clark, vice president at ICF and program manager under the contract.
