Fairfax, VA, December 4, 2000 - ICF Consulting announced
today the sale of certain assets of the federal financial management
division to REL-TEK Systems and Design, Inc., a wholly owned
subsidiary of RHC, Inc.
Lisa Kazor, President of RHC, Inc. and Eric
Dressler, Senior Vice President of ICF Information Technology,
announced the sale.
"We're excited that this acquisition will increase
our footprint in the federal financial management systems
marketplace," said Kazor. "Additionally, the new employees
that were brought over from ICF have a long relationship in
federal financial systems management, and the acquisition
demonstrates our increased commitment to the federal marketplace
and to delivering a high level of customer service."
"We are confident that REL-TEK will serve our
customers well," Dressler said. "This deal made much sense
for both firms. It allows ICF Information Technology to focus
on its core businesses of providing high quality information
management consulting services to our diverse clientele and
providing software products for the energy industry. At the
same time it strengthens REL-TEK's core business and provides
our customers with continued first class support."
ICF customers include the National Transportation
Safety Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission,
the United States Consumer Products Safety Commission and
the Farm Credit Administration.
Vice Admiral Jerry O. Tuttle, USN (Ret), President
of REL-TEK Systems and Design, also expressed his excitement
about the acquisition. "This acquisition from ICF
maps exceptionally well with our current organization and
contributes greatly to our corporate growth."
RHC, Inc., a majority Women-Owned business,
is the parent company of REL-TEK Systems and Design, Inc.,
