FAIRFAX, VA, June 6, 2000 - ICF Consulting announced
today that Frederick W. Buckman has signed an agreement with
the company to serve as a senior advisor. Dr. Buckman will
advise energy clients on business strategy, acquisitions,
and organizational issues.

Before taking on his current role with ICF Consulting, Dr.
Buckman served as President and CEO of Pacificorp, a two-million-customer
electric utility headquartered in Portland, Oregon. From 1986
to 1994, he served in several senior management positions
with Consumer Power Company in Jackson, Michigan, spending
his last two years there as President and CEO. Dr. Buckman
also serves on the Boards of a number of businesses and professional
and civic organizations, including the Standard Insurance
Company, The Coast Airline, and the Oregon Health Sciences
University.
Dr. Buckman holds a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree
in science engineering from the University of Michigan. He
also is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at the
Harvard Business School.
