FAIRFAX, VA, July 24, 2000 - ICF Consulting
announced today that it has received the 2000 Creativity
in Public Relations Award (CIPRA) in the Public Service
Announcement (PSA) Print category. ICF Consulting won the
award for its "Runs Better Unleaded" PSA in support
of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Lead Awareness
Program. ICF Consulting developed the catchy and colorful
"Runs Better Unleaded" PSA, which features vivid
photographs of children playing in different settings, and
placed the PSA throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan

to raise awareness of the risks of childhood lead poisoning.
"ICF Consulting has addressed lead-poisoning issues for years
in scientific, policy, and communications roles," said
Susan Hughes, senior vice president of ICF Consulting and
director of its communications practice. "It is especially
rewarding to be recognized by our peers for our creative efforts
on such an important health issue."
