Award Honors Energy Efficiency Policy
and Programs Consultant
LEXINGTON, MA, January
10, 2005 - The Association of Energy Service
Professionals (AESP) recently honored Mike Mernick, an
ICF Consulting Vice President, with the prestigious B.H.
Prasad Outstanding Contributor of the Year Award for
2004. On December 6, 2004, at the 15th National Energy
Services Conference in Florida, Mr. Mernick was recognized
for his efforts in developing several new Regional Chapters
over the past two years, while helping to build the association’s
membership. Mr. Mernick, who provides energy policy and
program work for ICF Consulting clients, serves on the
AESP Board of Directors, is Vice President for AESP Local
Chapters, and President of the Northeast Chapter of AESP.

Michael Mernick has more than 17 years experience
in the energy industry. Mr. Mernick is the ICF Consulting
Vice President with oversight for all of ICF Consulting’s
energy efficiency projects in the Northeast, including
projects with NSTAR, NYSERDA, NEEP, Con Edison, National
Grid, and Northeast Utilities. For six years, Mr. Mernick
managed marketing, technical and customer service support
to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA)
ENERGY
STAR Buildings and Green Lights Partnership in the
Commercial and Industrial sectors. Before joining ICF Consulting,
Mr. Mernick worked as a Program Manager with the U.S. Department
of Energy (DOE).
