LEXINGTON, MA, January 10, 2005 - The Association of Energy Service Professionals (AESP) recently honored Mike Mernick, an ICF Consulting Vice President, with the prestigious B.H. Prasad Outstanding Contributor of the Year Award for 2004. On December 6, 2004, at the 15th National Energy Services Conference in Florida, Mr. Mernick was recognized for his efforts in developing several new Regional Chapters over the past two years, while helping to build the association’s membership. Mr. Mernick, who provides energy policy and program work for ICF Consulting clients, serves on the AESP Board of Directors, is Vice President for AESP Local Chapters, and President of the Northeast Chapter of AESP.

"ICF Consulting congratulates Mike for receiving this award. It is a well-deserved recognition of his efforts to help develop the professional membership and quality of AESP," says Jeanne Townend, an ICF Consulting Senior Vice President in charge of the firm’s Energy Policy and Programs work. "ICF Consulting encourages its employees’ active participation in industry associations. This award demonstrates how highly regarded our consultants are in their respective industries," says Ms. Townend.

"Developing local chapters takes time, patience, dedication, and team-building," said Meg Matt, president of AESP. "To say Mike rose to the challenge is an understatement. His hard work has resulted in new chapters that are growing and thriving," says Ms. Matt.
