DC, January 5, 2004 - ICF Consulting has been awarded a
Professional
Engineering Services (PES) contract vehicle through the
U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) for approximately
$6 million for the 5-year base period, with an additional 5
option years.
Under the PES Schedule (Contract number GS-23F-0016P), ICF
Consulting will provide services for all six available special
item numbers (SINs):
- SIN 871-1 Strategic Planning for Technology Programs/Activities
- SIN 871-2 Concept Development and Requirements Analysis
- SIN 871-3 System Design, Engineering, and Integration
- SIN 871-4 Test and Evaluation
- SIN 871-5 Integrated Logistics Support
- SIN 871-6 Acquisition and Life Cycle Management
The goal of the PES schedule is to obtain high-quality professional
engineering services in varying degrees, from small-scale
projects, to broad-based efforts, to complete outsourcing.
There are four primary disciplines in the engineering field
(chemical, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering)
and hundreds of sub-disciplines and specialties associated
with these disciplines.
