LOS ANGELES, CA, December 2, 2002 - ICF Consulting was
awarded three
awards by the Public Relations Society of America - LA Chapter
(PRSA-LA) for campaign materials created as part of an 18-month
multimedia campaign
for the City of San José.
"San José, the third largest city in California,
and the 11th largest in the nation, faced significant challenges
in reaching a large and very diverse audience with information
about major service changes to its recycling program,"
said Joyce McClure, ICF Consulting vice president. "The
city had a successful program prior to the service changes.
These materials are part of a still-ongoing comprehensive
campaign that we created and implemented for the Environmental
Services Department, designed to make recycling even easier
for residents."
The first place PRism Award in Feature Writing was awarded
for ICF Consulting's MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) Management
Feature Story. An Award of Excellence for Brochures was given
to the firm's San José Multi-family Dwelling and Single-family
Dwelling poster brochures. And, an Award of Excellence for
Logo Design went to ICF Consulting's "Clean 'n Green
San José: Services with Curb Appeal" logo.
