ICF Kaiser Consulting Group Awarded $45.6 Million Contract to Support DOT's Volpe National Transportation Systems Center

FAIRFAX, VA, May 25, 1999 - The ICF Kaiser Consulting Group, an operating unit of ICF Kaiser International, Inc. (NYSE: ICF), today announced that it has been awarded a contract to support the U.S. Department of Transportation's Volpe National Transportation Systems Center. Under the contract, task orders up to $45.6 million can be issued. The contract, which is for two years with three one-year renewal options, will allow ICF to continue its support of the Volpe Center for a broad range of project opportunities in operations research and analysis.

"ICF has a long history in supporting the Volpe Center's Operations Research and Analysis Program," said John Allen, Manager of the ICF Consulting Group's Boston Office and Vice President in its Transportation Practice. "ICF has been an active and successful participant since the inception of Volpe's Omnibus contracting program in 1989 and this new win will allow us the opportunity to continue that success and even expand our partnership with Volpe."

ICF's Transportation Practice also serves other federal and state agencies, as well as the transportation industry, international financial institutions, and foreign governments. The Volpe Center is the research and analysis arm of the U.S. Department of Transportation.
