Brent Hebert has more than 25 years of experience in the energy and utility industry; he is a certified North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Reliability Coordinator (RC) System Operator and is experienced in managing several regulatory areas including NERC, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), ISO, and PUC compliance. Mr. Hebert was responsible for operations at Horizon Wind Energy as Director of Regulatory Affairs and at Calpine Corporation as Corporate Director of NERC compliance. He has direct experience in developing, implementing, and managing compliance programs. A current NERC member, Mr. Herbert has served as vice chairman of the Corporation’s Organization and Registration Subcommittee and as a member of its Compliance and Certification Committee.
