Leza Young has more than 20 years of editing and writing experience in a team environment. She has worked with documents of all sizes and many levels of complexity, on a variety of topics, and for a diversity of audiences. Her experience includes proofreading and editing, proposal development, formatting and layout of materials for publication, and special study management. Ms. Young works on the multisite evaluation of the Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services for Children and Their Families Program funded by the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). She manages the preparation and editing of publications and products for the CMHS national evaluation, including the revisions and contributions of national evaluation team members. She proofreads, edits, and formats written products and graphics for materials. She has worked on 19 annual reports to Congress, more than 60 manuscripts submitted to peer-reviewed journals, 55 training manuals, and more than 150 issue briefs, in addition to several proposals, technical reports, and book chapters. Ms. Young also manages the logistics for high-level meetings that bring together experts in their fields.
