Laura Ziemke has 20 years of experience in natural resource management, land use planning, transportation, energy, and environmental regulatory compliance. For the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), she manages two Resource Management Plan (RMP) revisions and oversees five RMP revisions, an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for solar energy, and a land exchange. Clients also include the U.S. Forest Service USFS) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
She regularly interacts with local, state, and federal cooperating agencies as well as other stakeholders affected by federal land use planning. She has developed a reputation for keeping projects on track, controlling costs, and bringing challenging contracts to a successful conclusion.
