Leah Monroe

Manager, Distribution Planning
Leah is a power engineering leader with nearly 10 years of experience supporting utilities, including hosting capacity and power distribution system analysis, load and generation impact studies, and long- and short-term grid planning. 
Leah is an energy distribution leader with nearly a decade of experience specializing in planning and renewables. As a power engineering expert, Leah focuses on distribution planning, underground distribution protection, and relaying. 

Leah is dedicated to enabling utilities and developers to maximize the benefit of renewables and encourage their continued growth. She focuses on supporting renewable energy generation and the future of the modern power grid. Her work includes projects for utilities of varying sizes through distributed energy resources (DER) interconnection studies, long-term system planning, system modeling, and grid optimization. 

Leah received her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler and is a licensed and certified Engineer In Training (EIT) professional.
