The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth witnessed during the last decade was unprecedented. Growth, particularly in the services and industrial sector is helping rebuild India into one of the fastest growing economies of the world. Over the last five years, economic growth has averaged well over 6 percent. The latest projections from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) suggest that India will grow by 9.5 percent in 2010. ICF International’s Bishal Thapa and Aman Chitkara focused on sustainability and the impact on the Aam Aadmi (common man).
