ICF is responsible for programming and hosting the (Computer-assisted Personal Interview) CAPI data collection tools for the University of Washington’s international study to develop better instruments and methods for measuring population health, particularly in resource-poor settings.
The survey will collect information on several key components of population health, including mortality and its causes, as well as the availability of various health interventions. This information will be used to improve strategies for population health measurement and produce instruments that are science-based, standardized, and widely-applicable across different resource-poor settings. It will also enable policymakers and researchers to help address persistent inequities in health outcomes in both the developed and the developing world.
