ICF conducted this survey to study the reliance of enrolled veterans on VA healthcare services, allowing the VHA to plan and budget for necessary health services.

ICF surveyed approximately 42,000 veterans by telephone to better understand their healthcare needs, use of VA healthcare services and programs, and the role of demographic and socioeconomic factors in choice of healthcare providers and healthcare usage patterns.
