Categorized Under: Defense

ICF International conducted a comprehensive study of Leadership and Leader Development for an Army Technical Branch that included a review of the literature; best practices across other DoD services, Health and Human Services, and private sector; and surveys of the entire populations of officers, non-commissioned officers (NCO), and civilian leaders as well as senior level leader/customers of Technical Branch Services. The objective of the study was to provide an approved report with recommendations to enhance leader education and development for an Army Technical Branch's officers and NCOs. The end state objective of the study was a comprehensive and integrated leadership strategy that was synchronized with the Army's leader development strategy to ensure appropriate programs were implemented for the Technical Branch's officer and NCO leader development. The report contained a draft action plan that captured issues, gaps, or shortcomings in the Technical Branch's current leader development programs, outlined the appropriate corrective action, and recommended fixes for identified deficiencies.
