Funded by the Bernard van Leer Foundation, ICF International will examine the impact of mother tongue instruction on tribal children in Odisha, India. This longitudinal study will follow children from preschool through second grade. The program aims to improve school readiness and life skills of 3- to 6-year-old tribal children in Odisha through quality mother-tongue preschool education.
