Individualized Training and Technical Assistance for Tribal TANF/Child Welfare

ICF was awarded the contract from the Office of Family Assistance (OFA) to provide technical assistance to Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)/Child Welfare Collaboration grantees to better integrate services provided by social service systems, including tribal programs. ICF used culturally responsive training and technical assistance mechanisms to support tribal grantees, conducted needs assessments, and developed and coordinated a series of webinars, conferences, and follow-up teleconferences based on tribal community needs.

Additional funds were awarded to provide additional services to Native Employment Works (NEW) grantees, facilitate roundtables on effective practices in tribal case management and tribal economic development, and provide onsite training at the Native American Training Institute in Washington, D.C.
