ICF conducted a cultural resources investigation, State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) survey, and technical report for Invenergy’s Vantage Wind Project. The project, to be the first permitted under Kittitas County’s Wind Overlay Zone ordinance, aims to construct approximately 55 turbines on the site.
Archaeologists surveyed approximately 500 acres and evaluated more than 35 archaeological sites for the State Historical Resources Register. ICF archaeologists worked closely with the client to relocate turbines and access roads to avoid archaeological resources. In addition, ICF is providing archaeological monitoring support during construction.
