As a subcontractor to a small business, ICF provides research, outreach, and training and technical assistance support to ODEP to promote the employment of individuals with disabilities.
Our work has included developing a competency model for employment specialists, directing training and technical assistance on implementing customized employment, and developing multiple outreach and educational brochures and videos on customized employment for job seekers with disabilities and for transitioning youth. Currently ICF is developing a web-based toolkit to capture research, outreach, educational, and policy information on integrated employment for people with disabilities. The materials are targeted to people with disabilities, their families and caregivers, employers, policymakers, researchers, and community employment agencies.
