ICF International provides SAMHSA’s Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) with multifaceted communications support in an effort to convey to its stakeholders that prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.
ICF initiated the project by working with CSAP to create an overall brand presence in order to strengthen its position in the public domain and to enhance CSAP’s use of cohesive messaging across its cadre of products. Additionally, as part of this contract effort, ICF is providing CSAP with content development, website development and maintenance, materials design and outreach support, partnership development, and overall program evaluation services.
This contract supports SAMHSA’s Strategic Initiatives and is designed to help CSAP reach a wide range of underserved populations including older adults, military personnel and their families, youth and teens, parents, caregivers and educators, and practitioners. ICF uses well-tested and previously implemented materials development processes to provide CSAP with the framework, strategies, and tactics that will help further engage its audiences in understanding and practicing substance abuse prevention and develop a stronger prevention image.
