ICF is currently responsible for further improving DHS Headquarters continuity training and exercise program using a wide-range of training mediums, such as classroom or online web training and the full spectrum of exercises: tabletops, drills, functional, and full-scale field exercises.
We are also responsible for establishing a workforce training program for both Emergency Relocation Group (ERG) and non-ERG personnel. In addition, we are currently responsible for further developing, refining, and expanding on continuity planning efforts accomplished to date in accordance with the National Continuity Policy Implementation Plan (NCPIP), HSPD 20/NSPD 51, and FCD 1 and 2. We work with the Office of Business Continuity and Emergency Preparedness (BCEP) to support meeting the requirements and guidance for the National Communications System Directive (NCSD) 3–10 (Minimum Requirements for Continuity Communications Capabilities); once in place, the NCSD 3-10 will be established as a best practice. We also assist BCP in conducting analysis and implementation of continuity guidance such as FCD 1 and 2.
