ICF International works as a subcontractor on the AfyaInfo project (2011–2014), led by Abt Associates. The goal of this project is to establish and institutionalize a unified national health information system (NHIS) with the Kenya Ministry of Health (MOH).
ICF's role is to:
- Support the harmonization of community health data with the NHIS
- Advise the MOH on data quality issues
- Manage the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) implementing partner reporting
- Transition PEPFAR implementing partner reporting on HIV/AIDS activities using the Kenya Program Monitoring System (KePMS) to the NHIS once it is functional
