ICF evaluated and assessed the security management, physical, personnel, incident reporting, recovery planning, and technical security controls in various U.S. areas, including a northeast region regional transmission organization (RTO) as well as utility North American Electric Reliability Council (NERC) critical infrastructure protection (CIP) programs in the Southeast. These assessments included energy management systems, distributed control systems, communication, and cyber assets that manage and deliver power distribution to business and residential accounts in vast service areas.
ICF also provided NERC CIP assessment, advisory, and implementation tool services to key senior-level personnel at San Diego Gas & Electric on compliance and implementation, including a readiness assessment of generation and transmission assets.
