Emergency Preparedness, Business Continuity, and Travel Options Study

In conjunction with SACOG and local stakeholders, ICF performed an Emergency Management, Business Continuity and Travel Options study.

The study was used by businesses, metropolitan planning organizations, and public agencies in the Sacramento region to help them respond to disruptions in workforce transportation following a range of unpredictable emergencies. It requested input from regional stakeholders, evaluated the state of preparedness, and also accommodated suggestions from SACOG.

The study also assessed existing data and new transportation demand management and emergency preparedness and continuity best practices data that ICF collected from public agencies across the country. The final report included a review of all of these elements and provided recommendations for SACOG’s program.
