This article discusses the 2005 decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in Kelo et al v. City of New London et al (U.S. Supreme Court No 04-108. Argued February 22, 2005-Decided June 23, 2005). The U.S. Supreme court upheld the city’s use of the power of eminent domain to promote economic development.
