The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has marked the 40th anniversary of the Clean Air Act (CAA) by recounting major milestones. This article highlights these accomplishments and provides updates on other EPA efforts, including the Methane to Markets Partnership that has grown from 16 to 36 nations.

    Seema Sairam has more than 10 years of experience in managing projects. She specializes in environmental planning and natural resource management and has expertise in conducting joint California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) l studies for local, state, and federal agencies.

    Her project management experience includes overseeing and delivering environmental compliance for transit and transportation, wetland restoration, utilities, and water resources projects. Ms. Sairam also oversees the permit processes under the state and federal Endangered Species Acts, Sections 404 and 401 of the Clean Water Act, and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. She has a B.S. in Environmental Biology and Management from the University of California–Davis.
