ICF Climate Sustainability

ICF International helps property owners and managers evaluate portfolios and identify sustainability initiatives to optimize environmental performance, energy efficiency, and return on investment.

ICF works with federal, state, and local government agencies and commercial clients to understand their energy, waste, and water footprint; to identify, develop, and prioritize sustainability actions; and to develop and implement long-term sustainability plans and programs.

We help clients such as private equity firms and real estate investment trusts assess the compliance risk of investment opportunities and cost effectively achieve energy efficiency across multiple properties.

ICF works with clients to identify compliance risk and best sustainability practices in areas including energy efficiency, waste management, emissions control, and water use. We advise leading manufacturers, consumer brands, and financial institutions on compliance and sustainability issues and help implement cost-saving sustainability initiatives. ICF also trains thousands of property professionals worldwide in energy efficiency tactics and best practices.

Our sustainability services include:

  • Helping clients integrate sustainability initiatives into overall business strategy
  • Preparing clients for changing mandates and market conditions
  • Using a broad range of modeling tools to track sustainability data over time

After thoroughly evaluating every situation, ICF extends sustainability practices across organizations and portfolios as appropriate with a focus on low-cost or no-cost measures, behavior transformation, and long-term value.
