ICF was selected by the U.S. Department of Education to operate the Appalachia Regional Comprehensive Center (ARCC) to provide technical assistance to state education agencies in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. Our support will help build states’ capacity to undertake education reforms successfully, support school district implementation of reforms, and maintain effectiveness once services are complete. ARCC will ultimately help states in the region improve outcomes for all students, narrow achievement gaps between student subgroups, and improve instructional quality.
