ICF Families and Communities Information and Resource Centers

Information + Resource Centers

ICF International creates dynamic, easy-to-use information and resource centers to help organizations, foundations, social service providers, and the public strengthen families and help vulnerable populations.

ICF helps organizations build information and resource centers that educate audiences, promote knowledge transfer, increase awareness of needs in vulnerable populations, and motivate change toward strengthening families.

U.S. government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and international groups can increase capacity and address challenges in their work with children, youth, and families using resources provided through ICF custom-developed information centers.

To ensure the right information reaches the right people, we deploy multiple modes of outreach and interaction, including:

  • Call centers
  • Online training and help centers
  • Printed material
  • Social media

ICF’s centers are informed by a unique combination of content knowledge, technological skill, and constituent engagement techniques. Our content experts know the best practices and cutting-edge research in areas across the spectrum of family safety and stability, including youth and justice, neighborhood stabilization, supportive housing, employment, and fatherhood.

Featured Resources

Information and Resource Centers

For more than 20 years, ICF has been a national leader in providing clearinghouse (or resource center) services to government and non-profit agencies. Information and resource centers are powerful vehicles for collecting and sharing knowledge with one or more targeted audiences. ICF’s approach provides clients with dynamic integrated 21st century solutions using proven strategic communications and outreach methods using the latest technologies to provide users with ready access to high-quality information customized to their needs.

Information and Technology Services

ICF creates dynamic Web sites, search engines, online databases and information sharing tools.  Customers can access publicly available materials; order print copies through a real-time, online ordering system; view up-to-the-minute resources through dynamic content databases or access our librarians and information specialists through Live Chat, email or toll-free numbers for one-on-one response. We manage libraries with records ranging from 2,000 to 65,000 documents—with many documents provided full-text online.  All of these services ensure that the most relevant and up-to-date research, reports, journals, statistics, books and other resources from the field are easily accessible to our clients and customers.
