Increased demands for accountability in early childhood programs have led to a critical need for tailored, high quality training opportunities in leadership and program management. To meet this demand, ICF Early Education Institute™ experts Jacky Howell, Barbara McCreedy, Caroline Davis, and Jill Aviles are excited to offer this three-part series for directors and administrators of early childhood programs.
This series will provide a unique opportunity for directors and administrators to network and explore the critical issues of implementing a high quality early care and education program. Participants will strengthen their knowledge and skills to effectively lead and manage their programs.

Instructors
Jacky Howell (Trainer)
Jacky Howell (MA) has been inspiring teachers
and directors through her seminars and workshops
for more than 35 years and she continues to share
her real-life stories that bring the strategies
in her trainings to life. In addition to her experience
as a teacher and administrator, Ms. Howell has
experience as a course instructor on a wide variety
of topics related to early childhood development,
curriculum, leadership and program management.
She also provides technical assistance and mentoring
to many early childhood programs. Ms. Howell is
also a presenter and keynote speaker at local,
national, and international conferences.
Poonam Ramgopal (Co-trainer)
Poonam Ramgopal (MEd) has a strong background
in early childhood education with a focus on qualitative
research and design. Her experiences encompass
child care, early education, and military child
and youth programs. Ms. Ramgopal has experience
coordinating and providing training and technical
assistance, participating in Head Start evaluation
projects, conducting inspections of military child
care programs, evaluating the effectiveness of
various childhood training projects, and developing
training materials.
