Fairfax, Virginia, August 22, 2006 -
Caliber, an ICF International company, announced today that it was awarded an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for five years, worth up to US$10 million with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Employment and Training Administration (ETA). As part of a team led by Public Policy Associates, ICF Caliber will provide the ETA with logistical support and quantitative and qualitative policy and program analysis on numerous employment and training topics.
"We are pleased at the opportunity to work with the DOL to enable the organization to improve the quality of services it provides to its customers," says Jerry Croan, an executive vice president at ICF Caliber. "Our expert staff's broad subject matter expertise and proven statistical and analytical capabilities will provide support to DOL/ETA—assisting in its mission to provide a nationally recognized, high-performance workforce development system."
The firm's crucial role in the program will include operational support for working meetings and conferences, short-term research and evaluation projects, statistical and analytical support, technical assistance, and quick turnaround surveys. This support will enhance the capacity of ETA staff to conduct effective meetings and conferences on a wide range of subjects and to provide sophisticated, well-written analysis of key research topics.
