Bill Stanton Honored by Casey Family Programs with the Ruth Massinga Service Award

Washington, DC, February 19, 2007 -

Casey Family Programs recently honored Bill Stanton of Caliber, an ICF International company, for outstanding voluntary service, while working to provide, improve, and prevent the need for foster care.  Bill currently works on the ICF Caliber Child Welfare Monitoring Project, which provides technical assistance to state child welfare services and state court systems to facilitate their improved collaboration. Bill also volunteers as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foster Care Alumni of America.

“In his 20-year career, Bill has shown a passionate conviction to his field and has developed the expertise to be a tremendous asset to ICF Caliber,” says Mary Sullivan, an ICF Caliber senior vice president. "We’re proud of Bill’s accomplishments and the recognition he's received through this prestigious award. Our clients benefit immensely from his remarkable leadership and progressive vision in foster care collaboration initiatives.”

Mr. Stanton has a long and distinguished history of both professional and volunteer work in the juvenile justice and child welfare systems. He was instrumental in expanding and improving the foster care and juvenile corrections programs across the state of Arizona. In addition, he has served as a board member for In My Shoes, a mentoring program that matches youth leaving foster care with successful adults who grew up in foster care. The mentors help youth transition out of foster care.
