ICF International Awarded Four New Contracts to Support the New York State Department of Transportation
Contracts Have Approximate Value of $7 Million and a Term of Up to Five Years
Fairfax, Virginia, April 12, 2010 -
ICF International, a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has announced that it will participate in four new contracts with the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) that have a total approximate value of $7 million. The contracts have a potential five-year term, which includes two option years.
Under the terms of the agreements, ICF International will provide strategic transportation demand management (TDM) and Commuter Choice service planning to help improve traffic congestion, air quality, commuting, and mobility on roadways across the state and in the New York City metropolitan area. The work will support NYSDOT's goals of reducing single occupant vehicle use and miles of travel while at the same time providing flexibility, choices, and an improved quality of life.
"ICF International, with its strategic partner MetroPool, is honored to serve the New York State Department of Transportation in fulfilling its transportation goals," said Janet D'Ignazio, vice president for ICF International. "The department's forward thinking and vision place it among the nation's leaders in transportation planning."
As prime contractor on one contract that covers the entire state of New York, ICF International will provide strategic TDM and Commuter Choice service planning. Additionally, as subcontractor on the other three contracts, ICF International will serve the New York City metropolitan area by supporting a strategic TDM program.
