The award is the most prestigious green award in the Washington, D.C., area and recognizes exceptional sustainable business practices.

In winning the award, ICF was recognized for "top notch environmental practices," which include its:

  • Dedication to being carbon neutral by disclosing its carbon emissions to the Carbon Disclosure Project and for purchasing high quality carbon offsets.
  • Green commuting options and telework programs that have a total savings equivalent of removing nearly 1,800 cars from the road each year.
