ICF International Unit Achieves CMMI Maturity Level 3 for Process Excellence
Designation Recognizes Technical and Managerial Processes
Fairfax, Virginia, June 14, 2010 -
ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, announced today that its Technology and Management Solutions Group achieved the Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level 3 designation. CMMI is acknowledged as the standard for independent benchmarking for maturity in critical technical and managerial processes.
"CMMI is a global standard for industry best practices for development, project management, program support, and process management," said Mike Tillman, senior vice president for ICF International. "The CMMI Level 3 accomplishment is a credit to the high level of technical, managerial, and process maturity we have achieved. Further, this designation serves as a prime example of ICF's dedication to quality performance and outcomes for its clients."
An independent high maturity lead appraiser recently led a two-week appraisal across multiple worksites using the Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement. The appraisal included documentation examination, artifact reviews, and personnel interviews across hundreds of management, engineering, support, and process management activities.
