ICF International Announces Joanne Potter as Principal
Appointment Expands ICF Leadership in Energy, Environment, and Transportation Area

Potter to the position of principal, supporting ICF’s work related to climate change, sustainability, and transportation. Ms. Potter will provide technical assistance and advisory support on a range of climate change risk management, infrastructure planning, and sustainability projects for ICF.
Ms. Potter’s appointment expands ICF’s robust staff of experts in the fields of climate change, transportation, and sustainability. She has extensive professional experience in climate change and environmental research and policy development focused on the transportation sector, strategic planning, and program development. She is experienced in private consulting, government, and non-governmental organization work addressing national, regional, and international issues. An excellent writer, communicator, and facilitator, Ms. Potter also designs and manages technical analyses to support informed policy development on emerging issues that cut across multiple sectors.

Most recently, Ms. Potter held the position of principal with Cambridge Systematics, Inc., where she assembled and led multi-disciplinary teams that conducted innovative studies on transportation, climate change, and sustainability. A noted author and speaker, Ms. Potter holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
