ICF International Awarded ID/IQ Contract with U.S. Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences

Contract Supports Army Training and Leader Development



Fairfax, Virginia, January 10, 2011 -

ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has been awarded a new multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with the U.S. Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences (ARI) to support the Research, Development, and Analysis in Army Training (TRAIN II) program. The contract has a ceiling for ICF of $30 million and a term of one base year and four option years.

ICF's work involves research and analysis projects in the area of human resources-related military personnel training focused on leadership and leader development. Based on its extensive experience in this area, ICF will provide a means to complement ARI's ongoing Army training research programs by addressing ways to make training more effective and efficient. 

In supporting TRAIN II, ICF will address human resources-related training and leader development needs by developing prototype training and leader development methods, assessing individual performance, assessing training and leadership program implementation methods, and implementing innovative state-of-the-art training delivery technology.
