ICF International Awarded $44 Million Contract by Department of Health and Human Services

ICF Continues 20-year Support for Children’s Bureau

 

 

Fairfax, Virginia, October 6, 2011 -

ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has been awarded a re-compete contract by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families, Children’s Bureau to provide clearinghouse services for the Bureau. The contract has a value of $44.6 million and a term of one base year and four option years. ICF has held this contract for 20 years.

The Children’s Bureau seeks to enhance the lives of vulnerable children and their families. Under the contract, ICF will operate Child Welfare Information Gateway, providing information and other assistance to professionals and parents to improve the safety, permanency, and well being of the nation’s children. The ICF team will operate Child Welfare Information Gateway using comprehensive knowledge management, information, and acquisition systems to ensure that timely and relevant resources are readily available through the project’s websites, library, and print products. Additionally, ICF will collect and provide access to a wide scope of materials on practice, theory, research, and policy in the areas of child abuse, child welfare, and adoption.
