Fairfax, Virginia, March 28, 2011 -

ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has won a multiple-award ID/IQ contract from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Research and Innovative Technology Administration, Volpe National Transportation Systems Center to provide environmental architectural and engineering services support. ICF will support the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) compliance area. The contract has a potential capacity of $40 million over a term of five years.

ICF will provide environmental services for NEPA projects outside of New York and New England that address nearly 30 areas of environmental concern, including air quality, safe drinking water, wastewater and stormwater, hazardous and toxic waste management, and endangered species.

“We are very pleased to support DOT by providing our capabilities to the Volpe Center,” said David Bauer, senior vice president for ICF International. “With extensive experience dealing with environmental compliance issues for transportation projects nationwide, ICF is ideally positioned to support the Volpe Center by providing NEPA compliance expertise for a variety of projects and agencies.”

ICF’s team has the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in locations nationwide, and to provide expertise in program management, environmental analysis, and NEPA compliance. The Volpe Center supports work for a variety of sponsors including DOT agencies, the Environmental Protection Agency, the National Park Service (NPS), and the military. Project work could include analyzing the potential environmental impacts of air tour management plans developed by NPS and the Federal Aviation Administration, and high-speed rail proposals for the Federal Railroad Administration, among others.
