ICF to Provide Unique Package of Event Management and Related Communication Services to the Europe Direct Network

ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, was recently awarded a new sale task order contract with the European Commission's Directorate-General for Communication (DG COMM). The contract, which was awarded to Brussels-based ICF Mostra, has a value of €7 million (approximately $7.5 million) and a term of four years.

ICF will organise and manage events for the Europe Direct network, part of DG COMM's public information and communication services. This includes supporting events for the network's service areas: 500 Europe Direct Information Centres, 400 European Documentation Centres and 300 Team Europe speakers.

ICF is currently helping DG COMM prepare for two notable events: the Europe Direct network annual meeting, scheduled for October 2015 and expected to draw more than 550 participants from across Europe, and the European Documentation Centre training session, scheduled for June 2015. Both meetings will be held in Brussels, Belgium.

"ICF has extensive experience in designing and managing bespoke events across the 28 Member States of the European Union (EU). This was one of the key reasons why Europe Direct chose to work with us," said Patrick Vastenaekels, managing director for ICF Mostra. "We look forward to helping our client to develop quality events designed to engage with stakeholders on how to keep citizens informed about the EU and its impact on their daily lives."
