ICF International Garners 21 Prestigious Communications Awards

ICF Strategic Communications Recognized for Creative Excellence

Fairfax, Virginia, July 22, 2009 - ICF International’s (NASDAQ: ICFI) Strategic Communications group was recently recognized with 21 awards for its creative and communications work. The 2009 awards, which represent top honors in the communications field, included a firm record of six Communicator Awards – two Gold and four Silver; 14 Hermes Creative Awards – five Platinum, six Gold, and three Honorable Mentions; and a Gold ADDY Award.

This year, ICF’s achievements came from its work for the following clients and campaigns: the U.S.-Middle East Partnership for Breast Cancer Awareness and Research marketing campaign; the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Climate Change, Cherry Blossom Recycling poster, and other program publications; and the National Parks Conservation Association’s Do Your Part! marketing campaign. Also, the City of Durham, N.C.’s I Love Tips water conservation marketing campaign; the National Healthy Marriage Resource Center’s Web site; and First Energy’s Home Performance with Energy Star print ad.

Additionally, ICF was recognized for its own Green Business integrated marketing campaign and Early Education Institute print materials, as well as internal materials for its Human Resources group.

Communicator Awards is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts and is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. This year, the Awards received more than 9,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world.

Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals and recognizes outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communication professionals. In 2009, there were more than 3,700 entries from corporate marketing and communications departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers.

DC Ad Club ADDY Awards recognizes the best in creative excellence in advertising in the metropolitan Washington, D.C., area. This year’s winners were selected from more than 800 entries from agencies, design studios, media outlets, and individuals across the region.
