ICF Consulting Receives Outstanding Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

EPA Award Honors Local Firm for 100% Subcontracting
with Small Businesses (SB) under EPA
National Technical Assistance Contract

FAIRFAX, VA, December 15, 2004 - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) honored ICF Consulting with its Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) Director’s Award. The award was presented at the EPA Administrator’s 16th Annual Small & Disadvantaged Business Awards Ceremony held November 4, 2004, in Washington, DC. The award recognized ICF Consulting’s continued support of EPA’s Small and Disadvantaged Program in FY 2003, including 100 percent SB subcontracting under EPA Contract No. 68-W-98-213. Over the entire 5-year life of the contract ICF Consulting awarded 100 percent of subcontracted dollars—almost a quarter of a million dollars-to small businesses.

“We are honored to receive the OSBDU Director’s Award for supporting small and disadvantaged businesses, including woman-owned, HUBZone, veteran-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses when we choose subcontractors,” says Sudhakar Kesavan, CEO of ICF Consulting. “Our commitment to supporting small and disadvantaged businesses continues, including the development of an online teaming database, which after only one year has nearly 450 small business partners registered,” says Mr. Kesavan.
