Best Practices Project for
the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
(HUD)
ICF International is developing and helping implement
a national initiative for the institutionalization
of best practices within the housing and community
development industries that support HUD's strategic
objectives. HUD had already begun the process
of identifying best practices, but realized that
in order to provide value of significance, those
practices need to be collected, codified, and
distributed in a manner that permits them to be
applied to best use. These applications must cut
across industry, organizational, and functional
boundaries. We are developing the structure to
support the initiative, including identification
of the processes, procedures, resources, and organization
necessary to ensure maximum effectiveness.
