- Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC): Background, Insights, and Implications
The Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) is the United Kingdom’s first mandatory emissions trading scheme to promote energy efficiency and help reduce carbon emissions. It will take effect in April 2010, and the legislation will affect more than 5,000 public and private sector entities in the U.K. This presentation provides an overview of the CRC, helps explain CRC requirements and implications; provides recommendations to become CRC compliant, and offers insights on how ICF can support your CRC needs.

- Climate change, including temperature increases, sea level rise, and changes in the intensity and frequency of hurricanes and other extreme events, may negatively impact the future cost and profitability of doing business. This new report by ICF International for the Pew Center on Global Climate Change outlines a practical business approach to analyzing and adapting to the risks of climate change.
This June 2008 Guest Column for the Web site WFC Resources was written by Margery Leveen Sher of ICF International and discusses the bottom-line benefits of companies becoming green and the importance of this issue to millennial-generation recruits to the workforce.

- Building San Francisco's Cleantech Economy: Analysis and Strategy Options
ICF International conducted an analysis to develop a Clean Technology cluster strategy for the San Francisco Bay area. The analysis focused on the potential for clean technology industry and green businesses in the City of San Francisco compared to the broader San Francisco Bay Area by identifying competitive challenges facing different segments of the industry, specific actions to enhance cluster development, and initial specifications for a clean technology partnership to implement priority actions.
